Skidoo mxz 380 track?

I am supposed to be picking up a low mile mxz 380 and wondering if anyone has put a 136 maybe 1.25 or 121 1.5" on these and geared down a bit.

Should worked just fine since they sold the 380 touring for many years.

see if you can get factory mtn gearing. i put mtn cat gears in my zr's when i did a 136x2, and it worked well. i would go with the deepest track that will fit, then gear it as low as you can.

a 136x1.5 will fit without issue. I recommend going with the largest bottom sprocket you can(44t I believe) and a 18t top. It'll pull that track just fine.

Thanks that was a question I was going to ask on how low to go on gearing. On clutching is there any changes over stock settings, I'd have to look at the sheet but I think both the touring LT and mxz were the same. Thanks

I believe they will both be clutched the same. Record what top RPM is now, what engagement RPM is, and how quick the machine responds after you let off the throttle and then get back on it. Recovery RPM.
Then we can help you with clutching if needed.
