That actually seems like a reasonable price from the manufacturer for a new kit.

Well, I'm picking up another 300f Freestyle today, 06 w/electric start. My kids rode the first one this weekend and really loved it. I was seriously surprised how excited they were about the new sleds. I asked what they liked better about the Freestyle vs. their 120's and they said their thumbs didn't get tired, it was smoother riding and of course, the electric start. They even said the Freestyle turns easier than the 120's? I doubt it, but I'm just listening.

I have already sold the Pink Flamer 120. The Red Dragon 120 is for sale for $3500. I wish my son had the completed Red Dragon when he was 4. It rips.

We will be taking both Freestyles to McCall this weekend and will get some great testing done in stock form. This will help identify where to make improvements. It is already obvious that the seat is too wide and waaaay too long.

This build should be fun. It will be so much easier to build using ready-made parts rather than fabricating everything.

Took ours out this weekend too, and the thumb throttle is much easier than the one on our Scoot was. I even got a chance to ride it and found it to be rather responsive, and easy to maneuver.

Nice, looks like you need to locate the "tree magnet" switch during the build and default it to the "off" position.

Great sleds for kids! I managed to find a couple over the course of last season. My sons got out for a few rides on them. One of the machines had a 1.375 track put on by a previous owner...see if you can tell in this video which one it is! Makes a big difference...will be doing that upgrade to the other one this year.
