Ski Pressure and top RPM on an 2008 M8

How do I decrease ski pressure on my M8. It feels like I'm riding a damn boat anchor. I have an 06 M6 also and the sleds weigh about the same, but my 06 feels much lighter in the front and I suspect it has to do with setup and specifically ski pressure. Any thoughts on this?

Also, I'm breaking it in and have about 70 miles on it after today. At 10,500-11,000' the engine will only do 7600 RPM when pulling in deep snow or climbing. Is this the right range? It seems low and the sled is leaving HP on the table.

Any thoughts you guys have on these two things above would be much appreciated. Thanks. :confused::beer;

What air pressure are you running in the rear float? How much do you weigh?

Were are the limiter straps set at?

I would shoot for 7800 RPM from what I've seen for advertised peak power.

You might consider a stiffer primary spring maybe in the 120/310-340 range.

Assuming you are running stock 73 gram weights?

70s might be a bit light, but you can grind the 73s.

If your already running 70s, you could also drop to 68s

Lots of clutching options

Actually 7600rpm is not to far off on the proper rpm. I take it you still have the 73's in it so I would install a slp blue/yellow 140/310 for a little more rpm. Should bump you up another 100rpm.
