Haha, Yeah, Not super pleasant I guess. THis is the first new sled I have every bought and I guess I expected to see it the end of sept. I guess I am wrong. Now I am hoping for the end of the week.

Spring ordered '01, 05 and '12, all were picked up mid October to mid November, so really not that far off.
I would rather have a later build to work out the early production bugs (ie, the 8's had the updated pipe clamshell and no seat staples).

DAMN IT. . . I was doing really well. . . now the CAT AGGRESSION has returned in full force. . . Sitting here trying to do work and thinking why did he get his. . Where is mine! GRRRRR. LOL but in a crabby tone.

Well I just recieved a call from the factory rep and his best case shipping date for my 1100t 162 50th is the end of november. You put shipping from cat to Oregon three days that puts it there on December 2nd best case. Realisticly it will be there on the 5th one day turn around there puts it here by the 9th of December. Three riding weekends with out new sled.
I am not happy.

Dont be too sure of that. I had a similar date and all of a sudden the call came.
It could be at the dealer tomorrow!!

When I was at the factory on Monday with Jeff C one of those T1100's fell from the assembly line and was in disrepair! Cat guy turned to us and shrugged his shoulders said, "no big deal it was some guy that goes by Turbo583, He can wait a bit longer for his while we try and repair it.

Haha. . . Funny. . But you said they weren't building standad m1100t's on monday. . .

Me too. . . I guess I have not seen any m1100t standards anywhere yet.
I was told a build date by my dealer the first week of november that cat tracker said november 9th. I feel bad bugging the dealer.. . . Which I should not. . . But I do so I think I am going to email cat directly and see if they did indeed build m1100t 153s that day. I don't want the dealer to be fed up with me but I feel as though I should be able to ask what is going on at least once a week.

Jeff. . . Funny or not funny story. . . As I laugh nervously. . . Remember when you called and got a build date and it was into Dec and in three days your sled showed up. Well I called just a bit ago to see if travis could verify if the nov9th build date that he had gave me had anything done to it and sure enough. . . It had changed to the 30th of nov. I hope this is same as what yours was but I am not holding my breathe as I laugh nervously. . . .
They really need to set the dates in stone. Because this is really toying with my heart. I had expected to hear from the dealer this week that the sled was in and now find out I need to wait another two weeks mininum. This will drive me to drinking!
Sometimes the assembly line will need to change to different models unexpectedly. If certain parts for a build late in the week are not showing up, or not ready for assembly, they will schedule a different model that has all the necessary components for a run. Thats probably what happened to my sled as to why it showed up earlier than Cat Tracker said it would.
It amazes me how fast the line can change models. You might be looking at one sled with black rails on it, and the one behind it has bare aluminum rails. The line changes that fast.

THe way I look at it is that your sled was likely built when country cat gave you the dec1st build date. Looked at the timeline. . . Country cat gave you the dec 1st build date on the 1st and they called you to tell you that your sled was in on the 4th. Now do you know what day your sled was actually built?
If the build date was actually prior to the first? Likely it had been.
Talked to the dealer earlier, about 4:00pm. said they got a White Limited 1100t 162 today, but no Black 153" 1100t. Supposedly my Blk 153" 's build date is Dec.8th, gonna be cutting it close, we leave on the 16th.
