Ski-Doo Helix for XP?

It looks like my DJ kit is still going to be a couple weeks getting here so I am going to try and just buy what DJ has in his kit from other manufactures. I still have my DJ kit on order and am not canceling it, I am just trying to save some time and get everything I need this week. When I do get my DJ kit I have a couple buddies that will use the DJ kit I ordered. So all I need now is the helix and I am not sure on the angles or where I can get one so any info would be appreciated.

P.S. Just want to clarify I am not trying to bypass DJ, I understand he is extremely busy and the delays are out of his hands, just trying to get things as soon as I can. Guess I am kinda impatient. If i can't get the right helix anywhere I will just wait for my DJ kit to come. thanks again

I dont think you'll get anyone to tell what DJ's helix angle is. There are alot of guys using the BRP helixes with great success. The 44/33 seems very popular, that is what I am uses and it is much better than stock. DJ is using the stock secondary spring. As for the primary guys really have thier own preformance on springs. 200/350, 160/350, personally I like the higher engagement spring.

good luck????

You won't get anyone to tell you what helix DJ is using because it is a multiangle/progressive helix, designed by him and built by Dalton Industries. They are the only two that know what the helix angles are to my knowledge. I'm in line for his helix just like everyone else.....
If you're wanting a better helix in the interum, madmax's suggestion will work better for you than stock. I'm just putting up with a bad helix until the one I ordered from DJ gets here.

The Dynamo Joe helix is a multiangle helix and not a progressive helix. You can buy a progressive helix from many suppliers (including team) but the only place to get the DJ helix is from Dynamo Joe.

IMHO a progressive helix can be an improvement over stock but is still too much of a compromise. You might get initial and finish angles that are improved but all the angles in between are simply linear. The DJ helix provides great initial and finish angles and includes proper positioning, length and amplitude of angles all the way along the helix. This is what makes the kit work so well!

You could buy the 44/33 helix and it should be an improvement when compared to the stock (almost any clutching will be an improvement), but this setup will not compare to the DJ kit!
