was working on my 1200 turbo and unhooked the battery when i had the dess tether hooked up now it will not rev up past 3500 rpm does this sound right and can they program the tether or what goes on there ?

try moving the DESS key around on the post, sometimes they are a little touchy. you have to take the sled into the dealer with your tether so they can program them together. aside from this, im not sure why disconnecting the battery would cause the problems you're having, unless you got your cables backwards or it just freaked out the DPM. good luck
