Ski aligment question...

I bought my wife a used 2003 Summit 800 that had a badly bent lower right radius arm. I have the new part to install, but the previous owner had obviously tried to make the sled rideable with the bent arm. Does anyone know off hand what the measurements are for between the skies front and rear? Or at least the difference in the measurement? The fronts should be just slightly toed-out I think, is this correct? This is our first year with sleds, so forgive my inexperience.

For center runner skis (like on the '03 Summit) you'll want 1/4" toe out with all the slack taken up (bunjie the ski hoops). For dual runner skis like Pilots you can get away with dead on centered as they don't dart as much.

Have FUN!

You need to get a straight edge 5ft long and lay it next to the side of the track and measure to center of ski front and back of ski. Then switch to the other side. The track is the center driving force. Make sure to center the handle bars. you may need someone to help.

STEERING ADJUSTMENT (skis)
Definitions
TOE-OUT:
A difference measured between the front edge of
the skis “A” and rear edge “B” as viewed from
the top. It is adjustable. For all ZX series models,
toe-out is measured at 220 mm (8-21/32 in) from
ski pivot bolt axis.
