I know there is a guy up in woodinville that makes single place sled decks but i cant remember his name. Does anyone remember his name or have his number by any chance. Thanks in advance.

Its a single guy out of his house

This deck that i am looking at is a all aluminum deck that pivots off of the tail gate. You drive up onto it then just tilt it up and push it in to your truck bed. He was at the puyallup snow show with them and a turbo m8 i believe in the parking lot. Thanks guys i believe he was also out of woodinville.

bellingham guy

pm flydipper....He can take care of you, I have one and they work awesome. I think Mount Baker Motorsports carrys them too,

Hiensco, out of Woodinville, no deck needed, ride on tilt up level and roll forward into the truck bed. Last year was going for $650.00, pretty good price for 12-16 hours of fab time plus materials. I built one similar and cost over a thousand in materials alone, no easier way to load and unload.

Thanks bigdaddy, now I don't have to post the same question. I saw him at the snow show in the parking lot and the price was about $600. I rarely need a deck and only for one sled so I was looking for his contact too. So does anyone have a phone number for him? I actually like the way the sled fits down in the bed and is less exposed to rocks and grit on the drive up.

copy that

it is a aluminum copy of mine.
mine is made of steel
mine costs about 125.00 to build
mine was from an idea i got from mtnsldr who got the idea from curt i believe, mntnsldr drew it it out on a napkin for me while were driving home from a ride and i fabbed it from there.

heinsco copied it from me i have known him since 1974. he is looking for new riding buddies....please pm him. the phone number is correct and also the email!

many on here have seen mine ..the weight is about the same as the aluminum,

heinscos is much nicer mine is more redneck

i would say use at your own risk and always use the strap....just ask jeff!!

i would not sell these myself as the liability is too hi...

good luck jeff

and thanks for the invite to the sno show

Thanks for the info. Wendell, I guess I have you to thank for the design,:thumb: great concept I love the way mine works, sounds like mine maybe a bit heavier than yours but it still saves fuel over the enclosed. :face-icon-small-hap I would think you should be getting some royalties though.:face-icon-small-win

the neat thing about these is that you unload your sled when you get home and then lean your sled hauler against the side of the house till next time,

you are not tying up your truck at all,

your bed is empty till your sled goes back in for the next time.

i use my truck everyday for work and cannot have a sledposer rig all winter...lol

lmao

hey maybe i should post pics on how to build your own!!!

good on you for building your own 2 the top!!!! or did you buy one????? you should make one for Bruce !! Bruce and heinsy would make great riding buddies!!!have Bruce give jeff a call.

i may post pics if anyone is interested . let me know

my steel one is on par or lighter that heinscos aluminium loader but not as deluxe

I have used mine now for three seasons and far more times than anyone. what i have found is that they will damage your truck bed some with all the weight on the wheels. , also hard on your tailgate. but not a deal breaker for me.

I built my own out of wood ($75) and a lot of stuff I had around the house. The rack is only 6 Ft long and the ramp folds up also to 6 Ft. It slides back into the bed when not in use so I can shut my tailgate and tonneau cover. When pulled back it locks in place so all the sleds weight when loading isn't on the tailgate.

@wendell

How long is the deck 8' or 10'? I remember seeing yours and being blow away at how simple and effective it was. Leaning towards a similar set up but I have 5.5' bed on my titan. I'm thinking I need a load bar that comes up off a hitch extender (similar to the full lotus quicky) to help balance the load. I also don't want to be using my tailgate as the pivot point so the load bar would function as that.

The wheels will really bend the bed? Bigger wheels or more wheels to distribute the weight?
