Just looking for some feed back gen1 vs gen3. I have 3 older zx summits. 00 01 and 03. Lake/trail riding and once in awhile bc mountains. The only difference I can see is a little wide and wings. Let me know.

Had two ZX summits back in the day, gen 1 on both, mix of carbide and flats. Were much better than stock at the time, great combo with the stock tracks, worked well on or off a trail. Very durable. Also ran them on the first Rev Summit, before moving to p-hounds. Simmons were very popular back then on Summits. One set of those gen 1's still run today on a buddy's classic RMK. Never tried the gen 3, of course. I'd try both, but that may not help answer your question.

Ok. Thanks for the feed back. Maybe I’ll try the gem 3 on my 03 and the gen 1 on the other two.

Doing some more research and maybe the Mohawks are the way to go.
