Simmons Ski Width???

Anyone out there in the garage with a measuring tape handy who could tell me what the outside width of a gen 1 simmons flexi ski is? And/Or does anyone know if those ski cover things will fit a set of simmons? The odd time someone with them on thier sled goes up my sled ramp and deck the carbides rip the rivet and screw heads off my superglides.

I think they are about 6 inches wide. I know they are skinnier than my PowderHounds and those are 7 inches wide.
