hey guys on my 2010 m8 what skis do u think i should run between slp powder pros and simmons slexi skis? which one is the cheapest and what do u think is the best set up thanks guys.

powder pros

buddy of mine rides a m1000 with simmons, rode my 09 m8 with slp powder pros and went home and ordered powder pros, had his first ride on it last weekend and said he loves it much better! He has a set of year old orange simmons for sale if you are still interested in simmons.

which ski?

If I could I'd have simmons on the trail and slp powder pro off the trail. Powder pros dart on the trail but love them off. Simmons flexis do not dart on the trail but don't bite as well off trail. I have both but my good sled has the powder pros and I avoid the trail. I think price will be about the same.

BEEN RUNNING SIMMONS GEN 1 ON LAST 3 SLEDS-LOVE THEM

THE POWDER PROS MIGHT BE BETTER ON DEEP POWDER, BUT SIMMONS ARE THE BEST ALL AROUND SKIS

I have more guys happier with Powder Pros than any other ski.

I also have a LOT of happy guys running the stock skis with the 4" dually runners from CAT

Ive rode with both simmons and PP's and my mind was made up easily. I love my powder pros

Simmons Skis

I run Simmons Gen1 skis on my 2008 M8 SnoPro and they work great! They also sell a kit to install on the skis called cooling-fins. They work like ice scratchers only better. I have a brand new set of orange/black Simmons Gen1 skis with cooling fins that I would like to sell.:face-icon-small-hap

Look into the stock Arctic Cat HCR ski. I run them on my M1000 and love 'em. Great for boondockin and powder and a deeper keel for those moments :face-icon-small-ton on the trail.

very affordable.

Do you have a part number for the dual runners? I would like to try them on my stock 08 Ski's

How bout HCR ski's with the dual Runners?

Had simmons liked them very much. Have PP on current sled right now. Love these to death. Simmons are the best for the trail and rivers if you ride that. But I have to say there is one flaw with simmons. If you take a look at Simmons and powder Pros side by side you will see one thing. The carbide on Simmons is a bar that runs flat along the ski edge. PP you will see that the leading edge of the wear bar is bent upward into the ski. Just like stock cat wear bars do. I know some will say there is plastic in front on simmons. But after time that will wear away. Might not seem like much but when I started to have problems crossing rail road tracks and loading on to a trailer. I started to think about this. I could catch some thing going faster and get hurt. Getting hurt and destroying a sled is no fun. Might be out in the middle of BFE wondering what to do next.

With all that said Powder Pros all the way.

With out a doubt; we sell way more SLP Powder Pros that Simmons skis. I don't run out and purchase ski until after my stock ones are worn out, but when I buy, I buy SLP Powder Pros, hands down; for trail or mountains.
