Simmons gen 2 on the 1M

I know alot of you don't have alot to say(good)about the simmons skis on the 1M from what ive seen on here......But i love mine and was thinking of trying the gen 2 out! Has any one else tried them out? Can you even sidehill with them...lol.

gen II,s on my 05 king cat

I have had them for two seasons now and the improvement in holding a sidehill and off trail riding in general is huge. They float better obviously but sidhilling is much more stable.

I loved them on my 07 m1000 but on my 09 I was fighting them, But I got sick of the stock skis. I took the gen II and remounted the spindle mount centered over the outer carbide so that the total width was the same as stock and I love them more than before. I almost think its tipsier than with the stock skis, they turn great and no more diving under the snow into tree wells or whatever.

I have been running them on my o6 900 rmk great skis will be putting a set on my new pro rmk 800 when it shows up I have nothing but good to say about these skis

You wont need them, the new sleds as they get lighter don't need a 10" wide ski. even on my m1000 it is a little to much but a lot better than stock. I would like to have some deep keel 8"wide lightweight skis

have them on my Spare/GF sled, and liked them. only thing noticed is that it was hard laying the sled over. countersteering, and the sled wouldn't tip over until it tips all the way over... this was not in dry powder, but more set snow.
