Silber Turbo Install Miles

How many miles have you guys previously had before installing a turbo. Have about 1k and been wondering if i should do a top end when i install the turbo. Thanks!

I would say it wouldn't hurt anything to do a top end. My buddy has 1400 on his supercharger and he started at zero miles and things still look great.

I’ve talked to people who said they got 4000kms boosted and not touched anything. If compression is good why touch it. To my knowledge they don’t have week piston skirts- maybe someone else can chime in and confirm that though.

I installed one at 1k miles and did a top end. It didn’t need it after I got everything apart but it’s preventive maintenance

I installed at 200 miles and have about 1200 miles now. I wouldn't worry about it for a while.
