silber turbo bog help

If I remember right the yellow blue mode is the setting for the sensitivity on the yellow mode. maybe the fact if you have slow throttle movement you get into boost ok, but on a quicker throttle movement it falls on its face try to adjust the yellow blue up 1 (Raising the number makes it less sensitive) so your yellow mode can work correctly
ERROR< DANGER!!! lol

the yellow blue is the yellow lower switch point, meaning, WHEN yellow comes on, higher means it comes in later and will have a smaller zone, lower means yellow is a broader zone.

The yellow and blue mode works in conjuction with the solid yellow mode and controls the rate of throttle movement to activate yellow mode. Lowering the number will make it more sensitive to throttle movements You want to adjust so when you stab the throttle from a dead stop with no bog. You dont want to make it to sensitive or it will activate the yellow while cruising. I dont know and have not read where the yellow blue broadens the throttle position for yellow? Simply sees throttle movment be it quick movements or a slow stready movement its adjusted to sense the movement. Maybe Corey can chime in here and explain it. This is right off of the tuning guide verbatum.

i guess i misinterpreted how you explained it, your right on the money, the zone is only active when snapping the throttle, so yes, sensitive to the throttle movement is the right description.

I have a 13 kit on a 11 PRO and here are the stock numbers just received from Silber:

Green 4.5
Yellow 2.5
Red 4
GB 4.5
YB 2
RB 4.5

At 1800 ft, I'm running 80 grams in primary, ~8-10 lbs of boost and still pulling 8500 and bouncing off rev limiter unless in DEEP snow (then 8200 rpm). Was getting DET at start because I was only running about 40% av, 60% pump. Bumped up the av gas content and DET was gone.

Didn't really see any bogs anywhere. I think I bumped my Green up to 5 for cruising and YB up to 4 (as recommended in the tuning guide for low elevations).

You are running way too much boost for 1200ft for only 80g of weight. I run 78.5g at the same elevation and only 5psi. You are hurting your engine by running 8500.

I am finally getting back with my results...i put the boost it box on and the fix kit. My sled its finally back it rippss and fun to drive. The fuel controller does take some time to get it dialed in just right but it is easy to understand and the fuel changes you make show the change in afr. Had a couple det lights when i was setting the box up. Now i am running 6 lbs boost at 1800 feet with 82 grams in the primary. Mostly loaded at the tip. Modded the oil tank to stop leaking aswell

Do yourself a favor, get a Boost-it Controller .
Runs flawless and rips!!!
2011 Pro with a 2012 Silber Kit

It was my first ride on the kit. Obviously I know 8500 is not a safe place to be... I'll be going up to 81.5 grams in the primary around home.

The 13 kits come with a new wastegate and I guess run min 7-8 psi. I have mine turned all the way down and it still pulls 9-10 psi from what I can tell on the not-so-easy to read gauge.

What you can take from my last post is the latest numbers being sent out on the controller and the fact that I have no bog.

I updated my gauge to the vdo gauge that jegs sells. Way easier to see and it doesn't bounce around like the one in the kit. I also had a problem with my 2012 kit having way too much boost. I was seeing the same number of pounds and then Justin told me to adjust my waste gate pre load and now it pulls 5 psi all the way turned down on the boost controller.
