How much boost are you guys with silber kits seeing on the gauge?
My max has been around 10 psi. It is running great but I'm wondering if anyone is seeing more boost. I have been running 50/50. Pump race at 8-10k.

I'm about the same as Boston. I was having trouble getting more than nine until I found some potential boost leaks. First off make sure the castings of the throttle body outer bores where the o rings seat are filed smooth. Mine were in need of a massage. Then the alignment of the air box is at the same angle as the bodies. Mine needed a spacer on the top mount tab to true it up.

At what PSI is race fuel (or a mixture of) required? I run above 9k.

Personally I run a 50/50 mix of 91 and 110. I live in the same area you do and ride the same elevation as you. I'm at 10 psi. When is it required and how much RG is up to you. I don't cheap out on RG. I also haven't attempted to see how little RG I can get by with because it runs really well with a 50/50 mixture. I'm sure I could get by with less RG and try to tune it a little better, but I ask myself why risk it....

ben wandering the same thing I herd 2 gal of 100 LL to the rest 91 up to 10 Lb but not sure on that have not tested it my self just got the sled. elevation 7 to 9500

Is the 91 ethanol fuel? Or have you spent the coin on non-ethanol? Thanks for the reply.

We were testing this setup last season with the Bullydog kits. It may be safe to do so but we wont recommend it until we have more time on them. We were also at 8500+ feet

I've just been running 91 ethanol from the pump. I do the best I can at getting it from a station that goes through a lot of it in hopes I get it somewhat fresh. I've contemplated buying a drum of 88 non ethanol (only oct level I can find in drums right now) along with a drum of 110 and keep in my garage.

Ironically, last year I had one tank of terrible fuel that made sled run like crap....it was actually the non-eth fuel from Laramie, Wyo. Not saying it was the non-eth that made it run that way as I'm sure it was just crap fuel to begin with.

I ran 10-12#s at 0-2000ft on straight avgas... No det issues with a par 12.5:1 head.
i was wondering if i could run 8 psi with the par 12.5 head at 1800-2000 ft on straight av gas ,and by the looks of things i can,you must have awesome bottom end with this set up ? i was worried about det issues but didnt want to do low comp and loose all my bottom end, my bro runs 10 psi on straight av 1800-2000 ft no issues 11 comp domes
