Probably, We have to see how much different the brake caliper mounting will affect the positioning of everything before committing to an upgrade kit. At a minimum we should have a way to upgrade to the new controller.

Is the new controller going to have a plug in connection? So if we need to update we can just unplug it and send it to ya?
Still working out the details but it looks like the board has to be changed and it will not just be an update. I will have better info once it becomes available.
Still waiting on deposits to show up but I would plan on the 10 being met so far.

So is there any kind of snowcheck for upgrade kits, or do we even know if they will fit the '12 kit yet?

It's not a Garret...
It's a garrett style custom hybrid sized Chinese (I think, definatly foreign) turbo. Well at least it was last year. Its a tough turbo. I sent a good amount of piston and ring through mine without damage. It spools decently fast as well.
It is from one of the Eastern European countries if I remember right. They are very stout and the center sections are cheaper if you ever do have a problem sucking something through one. I prefer Silber's turbo to a Garrett. My Garrett 2860 look like rusty garbage after one season. My Silber kit still looks new
