Silber feedback

sweet thats my same elevation good to know
what kinda boost do you think would be safe on av gas
at 5000'-8500'
thanks

So the Walbro pump that I just purchased was used on the 11-12 kits but at some point they went with pump that I have on my sled for the 13's. They have now gone back to the Walbro. So if you have the 13' kit and have the oil pump that I have mounted you may want to get the Walbro from Silber...

That d8 looks good. I ran that Silber kit on my 2007 d7 for a few winters. It woke that 700 up!

I have run a silber kit for 3 seasons now on a 2011 Pro, I have nada the aluminum tabs crack off of the airbox and the oil tank(nothing a quick reweld didn't cure.) I updated the kit to the new silicone air box, witch is way nicer in my opinion. I struggled with the not-so stock low and mid throttle burble with the dobek controller, Last season i tried the Boost-it Fuel controller which made a huge difference in trail riding. wide open throttle i didn't notice much difference in controllers. I run 10lbs on 100L everywhere most of my riding is between 4000' and 8000' with 5% over 8000'. I get some oil seepage in the engine compartment if my sled is 'shiny side' down...... which it is a lot..LOL
I ride with a couple of friends with MTK turbo kits, BD kits, and HMK kits. We are all so close to each other its almost a mute point. we can all go everywhere each other wants to go, we all get stuck sometime and laugh at each other. We even have swapped sleds for rides... Does one kit put out more HP at 9Lbs then the the other one at 10Lbs? we do not care... we cant tell by the seat of our pants and the Boost grin on our face as we pull the trigger on any of them.
I have dealt with Justin at Silber and he was Very good to deal with, Answered my questions after-hours, very good experience with him.
I have Dealt with Neil at Boost-it on my electronics changeover, Also a awesome guy to deal with, Very helpful with no ego about me having 'someone else's' kit.
I have sledded with and enjoyed Shawn Davenports company from MTK and Big Boost turbo's on many occasion, Very helpful and smart guy. even though he likes to kid me... LOL. He also has some very innovative thinking when it comes to products.

In conclusion I have had bad trips on my sled, a few things needed to be tweaked, But the good trips make you forget all about the bad ones.
My experience with sledding in the mountains since 1980, is this...... All sleds will give you problems sometime.. carry a good tow rope and sled with good friends.
I am over all very satisfied with my turbo kit considering the price to get BOOSTED..

See you on the hill.... Cheers!

My silber kits has been gas and go for 2 seasons now.I ride 8500-13000 ft 6-8 lbs on 100 % AVGAS . I dont play with it much so I know what to expect IMO its not any differnet that riding a stock sled once you get use to it other than way more power.

Have had 2 great yrs of Silber boost. First yr on a 2012 kit last yr on a 2013 kit. I'm putting my 13 kit on a new 14 pro and planning on another great yr. Justin has been very up standing an helpful to work with. Big smiles here after 2 yrs

Only had a silber kit for a year, unfortunately my turbo went out on the first day of my trip with a pro with only 400 miles on a 13 kit, Justin and the guys at next level were really helpful over the phone with trying to figure out what went wrong and such. Other than that kit has a real nice fit and finish and loved the kit while the turbo lasted! Upgrading to the new KPA turbo and bullydog kit and super excited!!
