Silber Axys Clutching

Remember AKFULLTHROTTLE is running at a much lower altitude....

Correct! All of the kits are the same except for what weight you may need. The 40 has been tested and works.

I am normally running lower elevation than most. I am just trying to keep my rpm down with as little weight as possible.

Normal elevation is in the 2-3k level and we do go up to 7 max.

Our air is also different, we make a lot of power very easy.

My 16/17 silber kit came with an almond primary, black/silver secondary, and Venom weights. Why the change?

whats the rate on the almond spring??I'm tired of the team Pink breaking in my kit?

I'm probably gonna use the Speedwerx H5 alloy spring I ran last year. I've been running them forever and have never had one break. Much stronger than chrome silicon springs, and don't sack out over time.

The Primary spring is the new Venom Beehive Almond 165/327 spring. The new design will keep it from getting snagged which should keep it from breaking. Measured it is the same as the Polaris Almond/Red 165/310.

For the weights, I think the plan was to use SSI but had a hard time getting them. The Venom weights are the same he has been using.

Are the venom springs alloy or chrome silicon? I noticed the almond venom spring is more tapered at the ends to limit snagging.

That is one of our newer springs that have been modified to help alleviate binding / rubbing on the spider nut. We have always used team / venom adjustable weights but have had trouble getting enough of them in the past so we found other suppliers for weights. Thats why not all are the same. We don't see a difference in performance between them.

How adjustable are them venom weights? What's the highest and lowest grams? Still waiting for my kit and thought it was coming with the SSI weights which I don't think will be able to add enough weight for low elevation where I am. (1800 ft.)

SSI has a 52-68, 64-80 (Normal for a kit) and 78-90 and with the Venom kit you will need some tungsten washers. Who ever you ordered your kit through and may want to check and make sure you are covered.

The Tungsten washers that AKFULLTHROTTLE are referring to are 3.5grams each along with the heaviest set screws, so with just one washer and screw in each hole you can reach 86 grams.
Base weight is 65grams.

Anyone try the Dalton's industries Quick Adjust Cam Arms?

I like the fact that you can add or remove weight without removing the arms. Looks like its very easy to find tune things on the hill.

so it sounds like in the secondary a Black white or black silver ,40 helix any ones primary spring 150-170/300-330 and the weight for you elevation, seems like any flavor weight will do, 8-11K elevation where I ride is 70-76G depending on boost? and if it pulls 8300-8400 and full shifts its good to go??????

Is this correct???
