I have attached the 30,000ft concerns about the HG proposal that were outlined in our comments to Sen Bennet's office. There are a bunch of rec concerns and concerns about general forest health, basically that the Hidden Gems proposal wants to designate some of the hardest hit beetle kill areas as Wilderness. The 2010 state forest health study provided a map of the areas hardest hit by beetle and it almost completely overlaps with wilderness proposal area. That simply makes no sense

I signed it as a greeny (which really I am). I stated that we all need areas to recreate in, not just for a few. There is enough wilderness. I know, because I spend most of my days off in it. Never really see anybody...weird that we need more quite space. But, I also sled jeep ride dirt bikes etc. From my standpoint, its all of our land, and should be allowed to play as we see fit. Not how someone else wants us to. Don't tell me how to live my life and I will leave you alone also.
