siezed one side, now what 2005 rmk900

after chasing a few compression problems, i decided to pull the cylinders, the left side had siezed at one point, the rings and piston had become one, and i have a little scarring on the cylinder wall.

what is my next/ most affordable step

are these cylinders borable, or are they nikisil, or something

do i do both sides, guess i have to if i am boring?

go with polaris or aftermarket pistons/rings?

thanks

Cylinders are Nikasil. Pistons you will want to go with OEM Polaris. If you just get the cylinder renik'd you only need to do the side with damage.

Your dealer probably does not do them, but probably has the resource they can send out to, to have it done. There are lots of places that re-plate cylinders.
