I could use some help.
I am a OK rider. I don't highmark, I usually stick to the little slopes and in the trees. But, I am having a really hard time keeping my sled on a side hill.

I am riding a 05 Rev 800 Adrenaline that is completely stock. I have done absolutely nothing to the sled with the exception of bar riser. Other than that it is completely stock.
When I side hill I seem to do fine when I am on the throttle and climbing. Other than that I totally suck. My bro rides a 07 M8 and can side hill for ever. I seem to be able to hold a OK side hill riding my wifes 05 summit ran. So, I at least know that its not all me. I have a feeling I need to work on the setup a little.
I have over 1000 miles on the rev now and am continually getting frustrated with the lack of sidehilling.
Any help would be appreciated.

Ski stance is a big factor. Wider is worse.
Sway bar can be a factor. Disconnect & try, if possible.
Front Shock preload - softer is better.

I do have my shocks set at the lowest setting. I will check the ski stance and see what they are set at. I have hesitated removing the sway "gay" bar but may have to do that.
Anything else that might have been missed?

Motley Doo hit it on the head. Need the track spinning to keep the sled laid over so the track is cutting into the hill (track speed faster than ground speed). If your track speed matches the ground speed (speed you're crossing the hill at) your track will try and lay flat on the hill (not cut into it) which means you're gonna be rolling down it and not sidehilling across it. Sway bar disconnect will help some, but ultimately it comes down to the track speed vs ground speed. Try and drive across a slight incline, with track and ground speed the same and see if you can hold the sled flat, then get the track spinning and go across the same hill, it will be much easier to keep the sled laid over. This is also wayyy easier to do in powder than spring snow as well. Apart from that, keep trying and good luck.
 
I have an 04 REV and had to cut out my sway bar. I too was hesitant on doing it but would never go back to how it was. Best improvement on sidehilling.
 
When sidehilling in ample pow, always keep it tippy toward the upside and don't use all your body english unless you absolutely have to - keep some in reserve or you have no safety net. In other words, if you are going to tip over, tip uphill. Doing that you can control your speed much better, but of course the steeper the slope the tricker it gets and you will need more track speed/speed in general. I've pulled some nasty do-or-crash (or get into serious predicament) sidehills using this method. Not by choice either.

Practice every chance you get.
