Side panel venting

Ya, I did it to both of ours. Has worked out great. I was going to put screen under it, but decided to try it without and it hasn't been a problem, even in those insane powder days. Cost me my time, thats it.

I have the SLP Snap In Air Vents 2.5". Work good. I opted for these becuase I am always nervous about punching holes on my machine, and I thought these looked like a much cleaner option than the full screen kits, cheaper also. I have 1 in front of the clutch, 2 in the air box housing, and now 1 on the side panel to let air get to the airbox with the two vents.

How many people have just drilled holes in their side panels and used screen door materal? Any pictures would be helpful for a new doo owner.

I bought some JC Vents. The fine mesh material I think is better than the screen door material for letting in snow.........The last thing you want is some H2O on those clutches.

After 2 rides my scientific "feel the clutches to see if they are hot approach" seems to show way cooler temps than without the vents.
