Side exit muffler setup for TM8?

Just wondering if anybody makes a good side exit setup with a muffler. I'm running the Boondocker kit now with just a straight pipe side exit which is LOUD. Thanks.

Here is mine. Sorry, its not the best picture but you can kind of get the idea. My last turbo was a side exit boondocker and it was freaking LOUD. Its amazing how much quieter this setup is.

Did you build your muffler or buy it? I've heard conflicting stories on the tunnel dump exhaust which is why i went with the side exit. People say they choke off in the deep pow???

I bought the sled as is. It is a bought muffler that has been added in though. It is not home made looking.

That is a Twisted Turbo Muffler, talk to Product Tester (Shain Stanger) he will hook you up with the right stuff.

The tunnel dump exhausts that BD originally had did plug up with snow etc,so they re-vamped there tunnel dump to a foot well dump, but there where issues with performance and tunnels cracking, that is why I went with a side dump right from the start.Shain will set you up at Twisted muffler.

My sled was set up by Brad Story. So either him or OVS could probably hook you up.

talk to jeff at dakota performance hes running a side dump kit, he has an ovs turbo on his sled so i imagine that the exhaust is ovs to

Tunnel Dump

OVS has been doing Garrets mainly for 3-4 years now. They do aero very little.

D_EDGE Is OVS still running the aero turbo. Would they have the same bolt pattern as the garrett?

I would like to see pics of cracking on tunnel dumps. That is the first I have heard of that I have heard of a fear but never seen. If you cant find one let me know I can hook you up.

straight pipe - had this for a few months last year, very very load, hated it

forward of the drivers tunnel dump - bog bog bog, had it and hated it

rear of the drivers tunnel dump - i hear it works well

CPC stock location tunnel dump - best ive heard, not too load and it works

current twisted side dump - its still a bit loud on the trails.....but i dont notice it in the POW, got zero problems with it and its a true 4" that balloons out so the actuator can push exhaust gas straight out, vs a 90 angle

I went to the Twisted Turbos site. Are they calling it the Quiet Exhaust? There wasn't a picture or any info about it. Priced at 350? Is it about the same noise level as a fully piped sled or still louder? I see the OVS is running the clamp setup on the exhaust side instead of bolt on. Bummer.
