Is there a trail that hook these two together? I know you can get to Shulin lake from P-vill. But how about pvill to skwentna?
Shulin lake to Skwentna

From Shulin Lake you can go west to the Kahiltna and 1) cross the Kahiltna and ride the seismic trail to McDougal on the Yentna, then north to Skwentna. Or,
2) turn south and ride the Kahiltna to the mouth (30 miles) then turn north on the Yentna.
You can also take the Collinsville Trail out of the Dutch Hills, across the upper Kahiltna and over to Angel Haven on Youngstown Bend and the on to Skwentna from there.

We have done the Collinsville Trail to Angel Havel and down as well as the McDougal to Kahiltna to Shulin in the last few weeks. Both routes are in and are good. Drop me a PM if you have any questions....

We're thinking about riding out to McDougall lodge but don't know how to get there, any info would be GREATLY appreciated!
Easiest way is to depart from Deshka, down the Su and up the Yentna. McDougall is just below the mouth of Lake Creek.
