Maybe someone like me who takes the hood off and sets it aside on spring day and then picks it up on the way back off the mountain.I Do the same with spare fuel can.

Ya, I used to do the same when our hoods weighed 30 lbs., not the case here, or we would have left it where we found it. Design flaw allows these hoods to become detached, although it's hard to believe that you couldn't see it fly off.:face-icon-small-ton

Understand. But i usually dont leave mine in the middle of the road, scattered about 10 feet apart, on their sides, dumping gas out.

Just trying to be honest, its a good shovel and i have plenty of gas cans.

No worries Ed. Figured it was ALL yours before i read the pm

Weird thing..
The full can was within 5 feet of your shovel. The other one was like 10 feet away with the bungee still wrapped around it.

What are the odds huh?
Maybe someone swerved to miss the shovel and lost their cans off the back? There was definitely some swerving going on up there...:face-icon-small-win
I should keep the gas for carting it all down to the truck. That's like 3-4 yard mowings for me:sun::face-icon-small-sho
