Should we have a Cordless Teth-Air sale this Fall?

I am thinking of having a big sale on the Cordless Teth-Air's this Fall instead of spending big bucks for the sled show booths. As our product is costly to manufacture and for approvals in Canada and the US along with patent licensing costs, maybe we should just have a big sale on the forums and pass on what we would spend at the shows to forum members. If there are enough people interested, I will meet with my business partner and sell the idea to him. We are talking about pretty good savings, like 2 for the price of 1 if we get enough feedback?

Both me and my bud are getting tethers for the first time this year. We have started riding more off trail than ever before, and feel we need them. If the price is right, count us in. Bookmarked.

I would be interested, and i know of others that would be as well. Sounds like a great idea!

I've always like the concept, price has kept me from buying, two for one sounds great too me. I'll take two!

Can you shut your sled down with the part that is on your body manually? Or do you just have to be away from your sled ? I mean if i'm tangled up in the sled but can not reach the kill switch is there a way to shut the sled down? thanks

You can force the sled off by covering the transmitter tag with your body or pushing your arm down into the snow. The shut down takes less than 1 second when the signal is lost.

I appreciate the posts and will monitor it and let you guys (and gals) know after I meet with my business partner.

Definitely interested.

Is there an unique signal for each one or need the specific transmitter for the identical one purchased?

They all share the same frequency but all transmit unique codes. This way you also get a system that gives you some security from theft. If someone else starts your sled and does not know how to bypass the system, your sled with shut down within 1 seecond.

There is a simple set-up mode to enter new or up to 6 tags into the recievers memory. This way a group of riders can set up together and switch around machines without switching tags.
