Should I upgrade?

I have the chance to pick up a Pro RMK 155 X 2.6 right now for 11,300 out the door which seems like a good price right? Not sure what there going for elsewhere. Not sure how much better there going to be next year but most reviews here seem positive with a few problems. I have a 13 Pro that I got so called so for 7800 which is a pretty good price I think for a 13. Just curious if the switch is that much greater? I know my 13 will be worth cashews next fall so I would like to get while the gettings still good.

If your getting that much for your 13' I wouldn't hesitate to sell it. And yes the axys is that much better then the pro! You won't regret it.

I was at Polaris dealer in Albert Lea,MN a couple days ago. He said he had 3-2016 axys rmk 155s 2.6 track that he would let go for 10,200 and he said he had 163 track that he would let go for 10,600. I'm guessing these dealers are gonna start dumping them before the '17s come out. And yes that is a good price for your '13.

Of coarse the new Axys is worth it. If it were not for money, everyone would have one in their trailer.

Leaps and bounds better than the '13 Pro. Mine was breaking trail in 4 feet of powder because my buddies modded M1000, with a longer track even, couldn't get through the snow the stock 800 155 2.6 Axys was going through.

If you had spent any time on the new model, you wouldn't even be asking this...

I let another buddy with a '13 Pro 163 ride the Axys. He comes back after 10 minutes on it and tells me we have to trade back. He told me if we didn't switch back he was keeping the Axys.

They are amazing machines. Raises the bar for the rest.

Thanks for the feedback, I figured it was a no brainer but just wanting some info. I would prolly be paying about 2k more if I snochecked one this spring. I think this axys will remind me more of my IQR long track I had with it being narrower and short nose which I miss. What dealer is in Albert Lea? Or are u talking M&M?

I rented one for a day to compare with my 13. It's the same but so much better (hope that makes sense). The power and how it gets it to the snow is flat out impressive too.
We were messing around drag racing some sleds on the flats while a guy was trying to fix a clutch and I beat a 940 prolite twice with a bone stock axys. I'm a fair bit lighter than him so he put another guy on it and lined it up with another axys in the group so rider weight was equal and the prolite could only pull 1/2 a sled length on it. I know drag racing isn't mountain riding but damn that was impressive. Btw the Cats, Prolites and Doos that day couldn't pull the lines that rental was putting down. Home run for Poo.

The dealer in Albert Lea is called Northstar Powersports. I think they are closed on Monday but might be worth giving them a call. Good luck

Just picked up a 16 pro 800 with e start for 10,600 OTD with $270 of acc from Lacanne's in Fairbault. Cheapest in the state I could find, but I did buy the last pro they had

IMO the Axys Pro is leap years ahead of the old Pro chassis. But keep in mind it is a first year sled. The a arms are garbage, mine wouldn't idle at altitude (needed TPS adjustment), and my TSS was junk (disabled it). Couldn't imagine going back to the pro chassis. Power increase is extremely noticeable. Super responsive, reacts to rider input almost too easy. Definitely needs a different riding technique, especially in the tight trees compared to the old pro, and needs some time getting used to at first. By the way I'd take the 7800 and run, pretty good price IMO. I got 8300 for my 15 LE with 800 miles and 2 years of warranty left.

I went from a 14 pro 156 x3 float evols all around 36 front can head and clutching to a box stock axys and it is amazing what it will do. I just picked mine up on wed. Have about 100 miles on it. Its the best aled ive ever ridden. If there is a downside (compared to my pro) it would be the shocks when jumping. Otherwise everything is amazing. I got $7500 out of my pro. And paid 12600 for my axys with about $900 in extras

Definitely worth it for sure 10200 at several dealers here in Wisconsin and mn so I'd work on them some on that 11600 price
