should I sell or keep my sled

Was wondering what people think I should do. I am trying to decide if I should sell my 06 summit 800 and buy a 08 700 RMK. what do you think the summit is worth? thoughts are appreciated Thanks

I've thought of updating from my 06 summit 800, but I'm waiting to see if the XP turns out great or the POO is great. I would love to try a Nytro turbo, but still not sure I want to go huge HP. The 06 has been great and one more year will be fun, but it would be fun to have the latest and greatest. I wouldn't go 700 as they are close to, but not as good as my 800.

why would ya want to down grade?

I have to agree 110% Your sled will beat on the 700 all day every day. If you asked about a 800 rmk it would be a toss up being a new sled no one has really seen go. My self i would keep what you got if i was in your shoes.

Keep it and buy some aftermarket stuff for it. As long as you are having fun, it doesn't matter what you ride.

As one of his friends I think he wants something thats easier to turbo. (efi) Plus he is a die hard Poo guy and back in 06 Poo mountain sleds were nothing to brag about.

Just my 2cents, but I'd be patient and stick with what you got. See how things pan out with the new Dragon 800 and or the XP 800. Buy one at the end of this season or snow chek for next season. :)

The difference between what you sell the summit for and what you pay for the RMK is likely to be 5000.00. Just like someone said be patient, let Poo and Doo work out the bugs in their sleds.
Someone else said to do some work on your summit. I think that is a great idea. :)

Vforce 3 Reeds
Team driven clutch
MBRP Can
Port your track
Powder Pro Skis
Intake Kit

None of these are big $$$ items

If want to go a bit crazy

Timbersled front and rear suspension

Most importantly get the upgrades setup to work together. Your primary will probably need some adjusting.

Good Luck

You would for sure be improving what you have.

As for price? Don't know, if it's in the midwest it may go for a good amount right now since we finally have snow on the ground all over the midwest in the first part of December of all things.

06 was the best year for the Summits imo.

I would keep the sled and wait and see what the RMK 800 does
