Should I buy a 09 assault?

I like the idea of the assault chassis, track and suspension but am concerned with the engine problems I am reading about. I ride 3-4 days a week and don't have a polaris dealer in the area. I don't want to drive 3hrs to have warranty work done. Are these sleds all crapping out or what?

Buy a 700 rmk 155. Put some high-end front shocks and stiffer rear springs on it. 2 less HP and it will run for 10,000 miles. If you want the ever important "image" put some Assault stickers on it also. Chicks dig the stickers.

700 may or may not be more reliable but i have ridden plenty of them and while they do run good, they do not have only 2 less HP than the 800, its more like 10 or more less
