Shortening limit strap?

Just curious if anyone on here has shortened the limit strap? The guy i bought my x3 from said he shortened his limit strap to make the pro not wheelie so bad. Anyone else tried this?

Stiffen up the rear track shock, and soften the front track shock.

I shorten my limiter strap 0.5" it really help with keeping the ski's under control. 2011 800 Pro-R

i did both a few rides ago. also shortened up the limit strap last night, so we will see how it goes this weekend

Shortening it about a 1/2" seemed to help alot. But not too much

If you're running the stock shocks try backing off the front skid to complete minimum.
