I can say that this doesnt mean squat to 95% of the readers on here.

Kraven sorry if I sound like a dick, but I couldn't tell you the top speed of my last 8 sleds. We clutch and gear for 9000 ft and deeeeep snow. The last sled I maxed out on the hardpack road was my 96 PSI piped XLT. 100 mph...with a passenger. Wow 16 year olds are stupid...

I guess I'm a little surprised the F800 was slowest of 800 twins.

In my experience, the cat motor is not "fast or quick" It is a powerful, torquey motor, but quick in a drag isn't what we should expect. Comparing my '11' Pro to my buddy's '11' M8, I can't feel any more power in the M. I would think Doo would do (no pun intended) well considering their powerful etec.

Dyno is a waste of time theres no better calculator then a 1/8mi or 1/4mi blast dyno queens hardly ever win dyno are just a good tuneing tool

Dyno numbers make guys penis swell though, who cares if its faster in the 1/4.....its not like being faster in the 1/8 1/4 has any correlation to riding in the mountains (lots of sarcasim in everything I wrote.)

If you've done any drag racing and read "between the lines", Horsepower always shows on the big end #.

I don't drag race. The old Thundercat was powerful...but put in the pow...not so impressive. The Pro motor has the least amount of "horsepower" of the big 3, yet it remains the sled to have in the mountains.

looking at dynotech info, looks like the 2012 pro are getting closer in line and the etec droped off a bit from the 2011, but both were in breakin mode
