08 Nytro MCX 162, will the shockwave give me the adjustability I need to run from flatland to elevation. The way it is set up now it runs very well in mountains. May have to tone it down a bit for 1700 feet.

Thanks for the info
Cheers

Allways 100% of the time do the majority of clutch tuning with the primary. Using the secondary only to gain/lose major rpm,s will raise some ugly issues. It,s perfectly ok to make small changes by tuning with the secondary.

2nd Question Turk, Are you familiar with the MCX setup, are MCX's weights required for flatland. I have Yamaha weights in their right now doing a fine job in the mountains. If I am going to run equivalent boost numbers at flatland how much of a primary change will I need. Alot of guys say not much but then I talk to guys and they are having trouble hitting the rev limiter on hard acceleration. Is it something I have to live with?

Depending on boost I would look at 60 gram base supertips or 20/50 supertorquer 2 speed weights. I have clutched a few turbo sleds at low elevation & have luck with both...giving a performance advantedge to the 2 speeds & also for ease of tuning.
