shocks interchange

06 900 Front ryde fx shock snapped off at the lower mount yesterday. Anyhow I'd like to upgrade to07 or 08 800 dragon walker evan air shocks is this a direct bolt on?

I've got 2 seasons on a set of the WE air's. I sent mine in to WE to have new seals and told the guy (I think his name was John??) what I was putting them on and he "pumped them up" to '10 specs according to him.

I think I would rather have had the WE Needles but these worked good.

Alternatively, I have a set of stock Ryde FX from an '05 with Zbroz triple rate springs if your interested.

When my ryde fx shock broke onWednesday I was disappointed. Then I realized it was a hit to the a arm from two weeks earlier that twisted the perch in a way that when I took a few jumps Wednesday it put excessive side force on the shock. So I'm ok with using stock shocks again.
Can I get some more opinions on this? Why would I be disappoint in the WE's? Ride or durability?

And cheap..... But like most everything, you get what you pay for. After I got mine back from WE they were completely different, before they would sag quite a bit and hardly rebound at all. I would not buy them to put on another sled, but in a bind and having access to them, they "work".
