Shock pressures in timbersled

I got the shims set up just like that. Un weighted like hang the bumper from a stand?? I didnt do that....how you supposed to add air on the trail then??

that is your prob you will have to add allot more psi once you lift it off the floor.

OK I will check it tonight...I got some dimensions from allen also to check. thanks guys....I'll report back once I get it figured out.

Well All my dimensions are right....shocks are in the right spot. On the trail on saturday I pumped it up to 150 and then checked it last night with the rear elevated....it was 120. You guys think 30lbs make that much diff?? Allen said also 175 isnt outta the question....Maybe I ride to hard?? Maybe I need to get it revalved a touch.....

30psi will make a big diff. Still not sure why yours is so soft. I have ice age rails mine is a little on the stiff side I run 75psi in front 115psi in rear I am 200lbs with no gear on. Never bottomed out yet. can you post pic of yours in sled.

Well heres a couple pics....did I miss something??

If that's on a Nytro or Apex you have installed the rear arms in the stock holes on the rails not the ones specified in the directions that came with mine.

According to my installation you are supposed to cut off the rear mounts from the old suspension on the rails. Then you drill and attach timbersleds triangle rear mounts to your rails measuring the spot to drill by setting the height from the top of the rails to the drop bracket. I think it was something like 11.5".

From your pictures you simply attached the rear arm to the stock rail attachment which would explain your bottoming problem.

Any one else see the problem?

Looks like how I have mine Thistle.

I did notice that you have 2 shims on the back coupler, the plastic pieces that is at the bottom should be on top of the shims. It just acts as a shock absorber and will not work properly where you have it.

Are the height dimensions different on the ice age rails?

Is the distance from the center of the top mount bolt to the top of the hyfax what it should be? 11 3/4" I think...

when i got mine made they just talk to allen at timbersled got all the mounting point measurements punched then into the cnc to make them so they should be very close, from all the checks we did they are dead nuts.i think thisle had his made befor mine so the mite not be the same.
