shock options for 2011 rmk

yep i made the change from cat but i could only find a rmk what do u guys sug for shocks there ryde fx ones dont look nere as good as the pro shocks but if i change what is best not a big float fan not very good for extreme ruff riding like we do had them on my cat back one was good fronts were weak imo

Call HOLZ Racing Products for a set of Evols for the front. I have had them on my XP since 08 and anyone who rides my sled will tell you how amazing they ride. You like it ruff then the Evols will surely impress.
My buddy has floats on his Pro RMK and its light years better than stock WE shocks and great for most riding. The Evols shine in the woops. I'm no pro rider by any stretch. Even when I screw up and run out of talent in the woops my sled never bucks me off.
Setup is most important as anything on any shock. Make sure you call Matt and let him know what sled you have, how much you weigh, and what kind of riding you prefer. This will insure that you get valving and pressure settings correct from the statrt.
As far as rear if you can swing the Alpha X I would. Lots of set up options with the Evol on the rear for different riding conditions. It's my preference but buddies have easy rides and Timbers and they seem to work well also. Though I like the feel of mine for all out woop thrashing.
Good luck and enjoy.

If you keep your eyes peeled you can find the Walker evans shocks for the pros in the swap meet' With the right valving I think you would be very happy with them. Would be a little cheaper then buying evols. good luck.

Ride it first and see. Everyone i've talked to said the RMK shocks ride better most of the time they just don't take the big hits as well. Are you jumping a lot? Personally I would PM kmod on here and do raptor shocks all around if you decide you do want to replace. Evols or exits are both great options as well. For the money I wouldn't waste your time on the pro shocks. Little or no improvement.

If your a little while away from rising still. Call zbroz and get a set of exits. They are very nice shocks and the attention to detail is amazing on them.

I'm having same "issue" here with my -12 RMK. Thought on putting WEs from Assault to rear and Evols front?
Will those WEs fit my RMK? If i'm right rear shocks should be about same lenght on RMK and Assault?
Or maybe some fox to the rear from Holz aswell?
