Every ride my right shin looks like a 1st grader beat the crap out of me. Never had a problem til I bought this sled. Any body else finding this or is it just me?

I have the same sled and I don't notice this however I do wear some MX shin/knee guards. If you are not wearing shin guards I highly recommend getting some. They can be a real leg and knee saver and if you get a good pair you won't even notice wearing them. They are not that expensive either, I think I paid 30 for my alipinestars ones. I don't ride any sleds or bikes without these now. One time slipping off the boards and dropping a knee cap on the side and you will never want to ride without them again.
Maybe I am the odd ball but what are you hitting your shins on? I have an xp and have never had a problem hitting my shins.
If you're fairly tall and ride aggressively, you.r shins may be hitting the upper plastic latch that holds the side panels in place. Install BRP knee pads. It seems to help
Never had that problem with my 07x or my 09 xp. I do wear klim pants with a pad over my shins built in, maybe try em. More comfortable then motorcross shin gaurds.![]()
BburrapI don't think its so that much of, WHAT your riding(XP, Dragon, M or Whatever!) as much as it is of HOW your riding! Generally, if the majority of your riding day involves SITTING then I would doubt if I would end up with bruises. I would consider myself an Aggressive Backcountry rider and from the start back in 2001, riding my 1994 1/2 Summit 670 aka The Green Anchor, I learned that a $22 piece of equipment was well worth its weight for the type of riding that I do.
