She's so pretty

Very nice setup, what did it end up weighing with all the "lite" stuff?

My guess it will be just under 610 wet full of fuel (stock tank). It was 624 at the end of last season with track, turbo, mt tamer, fox floats. The battery itself drops 10lbs. Timbersled says their tunnel drops 10lbs but my guess is that is before powdercoating and with the stock drop brackets. The hood is probably 1-2 lbs when all said and done. My guess is i dropped 15lbs from the last season. The powdercoating adds weight but should reduce snow weight significantly. My goal was 600lbs. I could do barkbusters and remove the muffler and i would def be there however my goal is to make the sled as quiet as possible. May still do the barkbusters.

I'll probably get an official weight sometime this week.

Yeah it drew some looks from passer-bys at the show.

And I think some guys were wondering wtf we were doing when we were 'modeling' a tunnel bag on it.. lol
Not knowing he was the owner.

Nice fargin sled Chris! You still gonna ride the trees with me? lol

Wet weight came in at 600lbs.

Did we ever hear from the booth what sled was the peoples choice?
That red one looked pretty sweet too...

BTW Ice age screwed the pooch again. I had a hard time installing that axle cause it was a polaris axle. Hats off to Mike, he's got a new red yammie axle kit on the way.

Yeah, whoever had that red one must be a cool dood too.
At least we have 3 diff color sleds now! haha
Mine just can't hang as a "show sled". :P Too many stock parts still...

So you have rails for a Yamaha axle, not a Cat/Poo? Did you get a 2 wheel kit?
Hmm, I thought he didn't have a 2 wheel YAMAHA axle...so I went with a WildChild kit...

I have IceAge rails for a Yamaha axle...didn't know that, and ordered what I thought to be a 'generic' 2 wheel kit, and turns out its ONLY for Cat style rails/adjusters.
Mike was great about refunding the cost and such.. But would be good to point out to the next guy.

Headin home to see if this WC axle fits!

Come on, that windshield really going to keep the snow off me this year...;)

I'll see you on that bet. It'll be close, you have more gentle rolls than me but I do get closer to the trees!

Rotax, I'm pretty confused by what I have or don't have.
Apparently the my Ice Age rails are for a Timbersled Yamaha and they do have a 2wheel Yamaha axle.
Seems like they have lots of different rail/axle options. Too many to keep track of apparently.
Either way, the rails and axle kit look sweet once you get them in. Mike really makes nice stuff.

I'm not looking forward to prying the existing kit out of there to replace it, that virgin 156 is tight! I may just swap out for a longer bolt and run it as is for a month or two until the track stretches out.
It's back into the garage anyway, I got some new CR/MPI handle bar parts and pieces. I figured I'd clean up what I have on there now and replace the whole bar set up later this year once I lose the bet with S.S. and bend or break the stock bars.
