So took the day off because im semi sick an the roads are snowed in. There is an insane amount of snow here in grande prairie alberta. Me an my neighbour go for a burn he has a rev 163 i got a lil 1999 rmk 700 with a 136. mine worked pretty hard. carving endlessly even on the once busy roads. The day kept getting better and better finding little hills with rolling drifts at the top just waiting to get pounded. After taking the verginity of those drifts we moved on finding more fun obstacles. Then mine started bogging so I cleaned the snow off the intake an wth i'll keep going ran fine till it filled back up with snow again, so I decided to head back home. I pulled the airbox back out an dried everything looked an my rh carb wasnt all the way on the boot so i pulled the plugs sure enough the rh side is a little lean but not bad. So I tightened everything back up an made sure everything was dry good to go. made it about 3min from my house and it started making a knocking sound so i shut it off. Restarted it an same sound ...****. So we pulled it back home im looking through the top of the lh jug and can see metal flakes on the top of the piston. aswell as seems like theres alot of connecting rod play. Will get pics soon. p.s motor was redone last year same . mad now seasons ruined :(

seems like the crank either split or came apart near the connecting rod on pto side. i had the phasing set an pins welded before we rebuil tit last season. if all else fails ill see if the guy who welded it still has the 910 big bore

You cant tell by the pics but on the crank where the lh connecting rod is attached its either broken or is there a way for it to come loose ?
