Setting up a crossover for deep snow??

I am running a 144" 2006 900 Switchback, I mostly ride trails but we are taking a trip to Michigans U.P. for some deep snow riding and maybe some boondocking if conditions permit.

Where should I start for suspension set-up?

I can adjust the preload on my front skid shock, Do I want to add preload or decrease it. and why? what does what for a sled in deep powder?

I already have my limiter straps out to the longest position, and plan on narrowing my ski-stance (adjustable by an inch or so on this sled by use of spacers) to the narrowest setting.

Do I want to do anything to the ski shocks? where do i want my torsion springs set at? and why?
I also have adjustable dampening on the rear skid shock, How do I want to set that for best deep snow performance?

if it helps I am about 265#s with all my riding gear on, and I carry 2.5 Gal of spare fuel in a stock Polaris can on the tunnel.

I have never had an uncoupled skid before getting this sled and it is a bit confusing to me actually. all of my oval-track and trail suspension knowledge is kinda useless for powder riding. So please point me in the right direction so the sled performs to the best of it's ability in deep snow.

Thank you,

Start with something very basic,simple and stupid...bar risers! 90% or more of your time riding in the deep you will be standing. Make sure that while standing on your sled with your riding boots on, you do not have to bend over or bend your knees to reach the bars. Your back and neck will thank you at the end of a long day!!! Make sure to pack some spare belts with you. You will go through more belts in one week in the deep than you will all year one the trails. Get in shape! These small things will help ensure you have a great time.:beer;
