Had two snowmobiling related injuries in the area in the last week. I have been a volunteer EMT for many years and don't remember any before. the question is do any of you know of a good rescue sled to tow a injured person to the road? we are looking at Skedco, but I think the patient will get allot of snow and a rough ride even if towed by hand. the other sleds I found on line are big.
Thanks!!

Send an email to this guy, Roger Pennington. He is president of the San Juan Sleddars in SW Colorado been doing this stuff for a million years. Former VP Colorado Snowmobile Assoc etc etc. He will know what we use down here or should be able to put you in touch with our S&R head guy. I know we were looking at some new units two season ago. Good Luck

Contact Roberta at Bear Lodge in the Big Horns they have a good rescue sled. I believe it can be converted for summer use also. Good protection for a c-spined pt and good access.
