Selling a sled as "Stock" after a Turbo is removed

All the reasons listed above are why I havent bought a used sled or a used vehicle in a very long time. I work on both for a living and see how people treat and take care of their stuff (they dont). You wouldnt believe how many people go 5-10,000 miles overdue on an oil change, or the guy/gal that gets there oil changed when the oil light starts coming on..... and I'm not talking about the "change oil" message, i'm talking about the red, no oil pressure warning light coming on due to the 1-1.5qts of oil left in the engine.
Sleds get treated the same way. Suspension parts never greased, shafts and bushings worn through, chain cases with milky fluid in them, clutches cracked / worn out.
If your going to buy used, you better know what your looking at. Dont cont on the buyer telling you anything you should know. Eric

I dont think I EVER recall seeing a sled ad saying that the sled had previously been turboed, and I have seen alot of used turbo kits for sale.

You nailed it! Previously boosted sleds are everywhere, and VERY FEW "sellers" say a word. Like mentioned earlier, I personally wouldn't buy one unless the price was FAR lower than a true stock sled.

Selling it privately...I would tell the buyer everything full disclosure and back it up with the knoweledge to build there confidence. If I knew the sled was a potential time bomb or gave me any indication I would drop it at the dealership as a trade and never look back. Also to add, If sled had a turbo and ran fine with NO known issues and you did trade it, HOW would the dealer have any further responsibility to share knowledge he does not have? You never know what your buying so do your due diligence.
