Seeking female advice....

I understand... my wife of 4 months has the same name as my sister. At least the spelling is slightly different, Bethany vs Bethanny. But since I have zero romantic thoughts toward my sister, I don't have any issues of mixed identities of whom I'm in bed with!

I cant call her by her middle name because that was my dead grandmothers name, and thats "Louise" :mad: and I cant find a nickname because thats weird, and I dont want to call her by her last name because im not her coach. If I did that id feel like id have to wear a ballcap and a whistle and wear my socks while doing the nasty.

If I do indeed break it off with this girl for that reason, should I be issued a mulligan to friend zone? Or am I going about it all wrong?

Seriously, a name?!?
First off, stop talking during sex, it's a waste of time.
Secondlly, you need to examine what you really want in a relationship. If you are looking to drop the girl just becaue of her name, me thinks there is something else going on.

Someone getting a little deep into the relationship and getting cold feet??
I have heard of a lot of reasons to break up with someone (heck I invented some real doosies), but this is a first.

also, if you want just ladies opinions, you REALLY need to pm some of the ladies.
Cause we are going to tell you yours nuts and get over the whole name thing.

Like somebody suggested, talk it over with her, and see if there is a nickname you both can agree on.
Should be easy to work out if your relationship looks like one you'd like to continue.

I did something similar with the woman I've been with for the last 15 years. Her name is Diane. My first wife was a Diane. After we were divorced, I dated another "Diane" for a short time. :eek: Seemed strange alright.

Anyhow "Diane #3" is "Annie", by her suggestion. Only time I use her given name is when I call her at work. Its a huge metro hospital, so it's simpler that way.
 
You talk to much

The last thing you should be doing in the bed room is talking. I have been married for 17 years and I hardly every refer to my wife by her name Michelle to long its either honey or shell. Good luck Nate
