secondary slop

I blew my first belt today and noticed alot of slop in the secondary. I checked the chain tension but don't know if 3" slop is OK or not. please let me know what you think. 08 nytro 180 mcx thanks Mark

I've always had a lot in mine. more than I think is safe but 2,000 miles and all is well...

it is normal if you have reverse.

You bet, with reverse it rotates the lower gear and the slop is in the dogs where the two gears mesh. No worries dude. Shad
