secondary question

I was changing the belt on my wifes 01800 now the secondary clutch wont close all the way the belt sits about a 1/4 in low started sled with track off the ground ran for a bit but clutch won't close all the way.any ideas on what the problem is?

Maybe some thread or other foreign matter at the bottom of the clutch or something hung up inside?

When is the last time it has been apart for cleaning?

You will more than likely need to adjust the deflection with a new belt as well so the belt is not too tight or runs too high on the clutch.

adjustment not right or you have a wrong belt?? if its a skidoo belt should be a 127

Just got sled recently not sure when it was checked last had a starter brake last week so pulled belt I was just putting it back on.I have a brand new spare maybe I should put that one on.

My buddy a mechanic took secondary apart we cleaned it everything looked good put it back together I put a brand new belt on its still sitting to low ugh ill watch the adjustment video and see if I can do it. Thanks

I think its the primary I hear clanking.thoughts?

Too short of a belt or it needs adjusted. Doo belt should be 417300127

if it idles under 1600 they like to make noise, you might have to take your primary apart and look for loose fit parts!

I can't start the sled without it wanting to lunge forward. I have to suspend rear off floor to start it.
