secondary keyway

A buddy of mine owns an artcic cat t660 and the key way slot in his secondary has become sloppy for what ever reason. Could a new key way slot be broached into it 180 degrees from the original or would this throw the balance of the clutch off.

i think you would be good to go doing that..

try a new key first might find the slop is the key not keyway . just something to try that's easy and cheap first.

or..or..or..go to a tad wider key and resize both existing notches...??
