I just got a 2015 yz 450 with a mountain sled 120 what do you guys use for seats my *** is killing me after even 15 minutes .

Thought about making my own it does not have to be pretty just effective .
How much wider would you say it is than stock ?
Here is my 10" wide fisher seat with snow top cover. I still wanted my stock seat for summer moto so they provided and built the whole thing $360. I can ride all day and feel zero butt pain... it is seriously a fav purchase on my snowbike.
I've got a seat concepts on my KTM and love it. That fisher one posted above looks awesome though.

Got with seat concepts! i got the regular height comfort seat. Day and night over the stock seat. it is wider but honestly even with stock pegs i barely even notice the wide part hitting my legs. done a few 5 to 6 hours days in the seat and i have NO problem getting off and walking. Before i was miserable after 2 hours.

Even better, its a complete seat with better seat pan and more air flow and more padding in the stock height seat than many of the built up seats.

But I have a 15 yz 450f . great price .
+1seat concepts. Foam and cover was easy if you have air stapler.

I did seat concepts last year. This year on my new build I left the seat stock, and bought padded mountain bike shorts to wear under my clothes for 30 bucks. Gotta say, it is way better than any seat. Doing both would be nice. But padded shorts are oh so comfy.

Guts racing does probably the same thing as seat concepts. They will sell you a piece of foam in varying degrees of firmness, then get a new cover from them or one of your liking. Harbor freight sells an air stapler for like $20 bucks that works great for the amount you are going to use it. Watch a video on stapling it down, it will help you to understand the best tactics for getting a wrinkle free seat. I usually put the cover in the drier on high and get it hot and stretchy then go for it.
I also put on a guts racing seat. I got the taller seat and soft foam. It is definitely better than stock. I would have bought a seat concepts but they wanted over 100$ to ship it to canada. Guts shipped the foam and cover for 11$.
