Anybody know of any reputable places in the Denver area that will do,

Seat cover repair/vinyl sewing?

Ceramic coating?

Looking for someplace SnoWesters have been treated well and do good work.
Thanks for the help!

There is a lady that advertises on Craigs List that does seat recovering and repair. She recovered a seat for me last year and charged $100. She did very nice work and turnaround time was 5 days.

May be the same one who recovered the seat on my wife's FZ750...she added some foam, reshaped, covered, think was about $75, and quick turnaround...we were impressed.

Was it a lady named Alex? We used her to cover a hood and the results were OK.. Not great but it was a tough project. I would recommend her for simple projects.

Very affordable. I may have her recover my nytro seat

Yes, her name is Alex. I was looking into a Boss seat for my '03 1m. After seeing the 600.00 + price tag I looked into other options. Alex added 5.5" to my seat and recovered it. The first time we used a moto gripper style fabric. It was way too slick in the cold and snow and the seat was hard. A buddy of mine had his done and she had come up with a better pad and cover. I had mine redone with the new foam and cover and I am very pleased with it. It may not be a Boss, but for the money I think it is great! About 125.00-150.00 for my build up and recover. May be less for just the cover.

Sweet, do you supply the foam? Or does she have something that works well in a seat?

For that $ I'd consider doing something w/ my Impulse Nytro seat...which lacks a bit of protection between the tank and butt bone! :(

Ceramic Coating---Applied Plastic Coating, Wheat Ridge, 303-424-9200, ask for Biff. They did two stock pipes for me--oldest one is 4 yrs old and still like new.

Do you have Alex's phone number?

Thanks, BCB

And with that... Shanny has again taken the lead for the biggest Jack-hole in the Colorado section of the SnoWest Forum! Welcome back Bud:beer;

"Jack-hole" It's great how you can use about any word with Jack or hole in it. Nice job bud

He's sitting in his living room staring at his gimp foot, you can't expect too much creativity out of him these days Mikey!

Drove to the top of the divide this morning to watch the sunset & get some pics this morning. There's some snow hanging out along the cornice line, we're going to be out on the snow making fun of gimpey pretty soon.

I can't wait!

btw, a few from this morning

"Still do drugs Danny?"

btw drove up to Saxon Pk the other day, very nice road:rolleyes: I had to move a few trees and stack rocks to drive on so I wouldn't high center on the fricken bolders. It was pretty fun.
Anyway I got to the top and saw that Backcountryislife and Shanny had already left their mark. I didn't realize how close you guys are, I mean the two of you doing this right next to each other and all...were you holding hands?

Just droped my pipe off at a place that is doing ceramikrome rated to 1300F and is doing prep and all for $100. I will get it back next week and post some pics and let you know how it turns out!

I started to write this, but then had the sudden urge to take the Browns to the super bowl. I can't explain why.

This may be a stupid question, but can you ceramic coat a black can? If it is a stupid question, just answer with a no.

Yeah, I guess I shouldn't have been all that surprised about backcountryislife and shanny holding hands while baking brownies up there.
