I guess when people are mountain biking next to you it's time to put the sled to bed. I had my last ride of the season today and it was a few days too late. While it was a challenging season in many ways, it was still a lot of fun. It's a shame that they can't all be like last year but we can certainly look forward to the big winters.

Thanks for the help from all on this site. I hope everyone has a good off season and success with your summer sled projects. Hopefully we'll all get more miles next year!

I did miss a big winter but I am also glad it is gone.
Moving on looking forward to "hopefully" a nice summer.

Looks like top of guardsman's to me too. I guess they won't have to remove snow like they did for the RAGNAR race in the middle of JUNE last year! We seriously had 6 to 8' walls of snow to run through that they had augured out for the race. The climb out of Midway up to the top was like running in a refrigerator most of the way. I bet it's a hot mutha this year.

Is that top of Gardsman?

yes, just south a little from the pass and looking back towards it. you can see the resorts off to the east as well. there were just patches left on anything below 9,500'. higher elevations were nothing to brag about.

bald mtn. ...

last weekend. Saddle on the back side. snow was weak. lakes are still frozen. Great day to ride some and build a good fire and cook Brats and relax.
