Helping a friend over the phone none the less. He was changing gears and forgot which way the seal sleeve goes. Looked up a diagram but without looking at it in person Iam no help. By the looks of it the gear goes on first followed by a steel spacer then the cover followed by the steel seal sleeve which sits over the oring on the splined shaft. He said one end of the seal sleeve has a groove on it. Does the side with groove go towards inside of case cover and gear or does it go towards end of shaft by rotor thanks he just sent me a pic of it so I attached it thanks
