They say that you cannot win/lose a game in one play. I think there is some truth to that, however, the packers did lose that game on that play. At that level when everyone competes at such a high level i think it can be won/lost in one play.
At the beginning of this referee lock out i was on the side of the NFL due to the fact i think the official NFL Referees are just flat greedy. I am sure they are loving this saga but i am starting to lean towards them needing to get them back. Or at least try to find a better group.
For the record i was rooting for the Seahawks to, and that last play was not the only bad call.

Yep. 245yds of penalties. Almost ruins the idea of the game. And the athletes don't respect these refs either. It shows. Though I will say that I have seen more real hits with this season, cheap or not, and I have thoroughly enjoyed watching these crazy whiny overpaid athletes pound the snot of each other like the good old days...

Being a Seahawks fan and having the "love" for the game, I will always watch the sport regardless it's what we live for here in the U.S....... I will take the tik in the win column any way we can get it, Hawks 2 and 1..... It is how it goes, you win some you loose some... GO HAWKS!!!

Where did they find these officials, Lingerie Football League??? The ref must have been checking out the Lingerie in the pile of players instead of paying attention to the real football game that he was being paid to officiate. Over $300 million changed hands in Vegas over the 4.5 point spread that Green Bay had covered with 5 points.

I'm not watching anymore football until this ref situation is sorted out and they bring back the real refs. The integrity of the games is now in question. When that happens and you're trying to run a real sport, things have to change. Some of the boneheaded things that these refs are doing really wouldn't be to far out of place in the WWE.
Sadly, as long as everyone keeps tuning in and going to the games, the NFL probably won't do squat.

this is some complete and utter crap. I think these refs want to be remembered or something cuz their calls are so crazy. And how the heck did the review process get so messed up? Did that change too since the refs are gone? Play review should have definitely caught that.

Seahawks actually look pretty good this year, although they lost that game, no doubt about it. I still smile when I think of that dumbazz Hasselbeck in the playoffs a few years ago. "We'll take the ball and we're gonna win!" FAIL. There were so many blown calls in that game on both sides of the ball it was ridiculous. My big problem is the lack of integrity displayed. I understand the NFL has become a win at all costs sport, but for Gods sake, don't acknowledge the win like you earned it. I used to respect Pete Carrol, not any more.

The Refs called it, reviewed it and the call stands. NFL agreed it was the correct call per the rule book. They can't change the rules to satisfy the fan favorite team.
Missing the offensive pass interference call is another story but that goes for almost every play in every NFL game.

This call was worse....out of bounds at the 1 and its a TD?

If you believe that you know zero about football. Smile and take the win you didn't deserve but don't pretend it was a good call.

If this is true, then why did the real refs immediately get their jobs back with everything they desired? The NFL had to stand behind their replacement refs otherwise it would have been even worse of a situation.
